Karim Jones Jr. leads the day-to-day operations of Secured Moving Company and brings years of hands-on moving industry experience to the business. Before joining Secured Moving Company, Karim successfully founded and grew his own moving company in South Dakota, building a reputation for reliability, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. That company continues to thrive today.

As the majority owner and Managing Member of Secured Moving Company, Karim is committed to ensuring every customer receives the same level of professionalism, care, and attention that helped make his previous venture successful. His leadership style is grounded in integrity, accountability, and a genuine desire to make each customer’s moving experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

The former owner of Secured Moving Company recognized those qualities early on, and what began as a business relationship grew into a lasting friendship and mentorship that continues today. Karim Jones is no stranger to entrepreneurship or serving customers. For more than 20 years, he successfully owned and operated his own HVAC business, earning the trust of homeowners and businesses through quality workmanship, honest communication, and dependable service.

Known for his ability to connect authentically with people, Karim believes that every customer deserves to feel valued, respected, and confident in the service they receive. Those same principles guide his role at Secured Moving Company today.

In addition to his business experience, Karim is an avid real estate investor. Together with his wife, Michelle, he has owned and managed multiple investment properties over the years. Their experience buying, selling, renovating, renting, and maintaining homes gives them a unique understanding of the challenges families face during major life transitions, including moving.

That perspective allows Karim to approach each move with empathy, professionalism, and a deep appreciation for the trust customers place in the company.

Michelle Jones

Co-Owner

Michelle Jones brings more than three decades of leadership, relationship-building, and service experience to Secured Moving Company. After a distinguished 34-year career with NASA, where she retired as a Senior Executive, Michelle now focuses on entrepreneurship, coaching, facilitation, and helping people successfully navigate change and transition.

Throughout her career, Michelle has worked closely with individuals, families, communities, and organizations, helping people solve problems, build trust, and move forward with confidence. Those same skills translate naturally into the moving industry, where every move represents a significant life transition.

Alongside her husband, Karim, Michelle has extensive experience as a real estate investor and property owner. Together, they understand that moving is about far more than transporting belongings. It’s about helping people begin a new chapter.
